The “Usage” page: understand your employees’ engagement

What is this page for?

The “Usage” page (My subscription → Usage) gives you an overall view of your employees’ activity on the Kiplin app, across all challenges. It is your main dashboard to measure engagement over time.

How do I filter the data?

A bar with 5 filters at the top of the page allows you to refine the display according to your needs:

  • Client: your organization
  • Month: to focus on a specific period
  • Site: to compare your different locations
  • Age group: to segment by age range
  • Gender: to segment by declared gender

By default, all filters are set to “All”: you see all your data.

What do the indicators mean?

Section “What are my users doing?”

  • Number of active subscribers

The number of employees with an active subscription at the time you view the page. The 7-day variation shows whether new registrations have occurred recently. This is the first metric to check to see if your employees are joining the app.

  • Total people reached

The total number of people who have interacted with the app. This figure may be slightly higher than the number of subscribers if some users have requested the deletion of their personal data.

  • MAU (Monthly Active Users)

The number of employees who opened the app during the displayed month. This is the most reliable indicator of real engagement: subscribers who do not open the app are not counted here.

  • Average MAU

The average MAU calculated over several months. It smooths short-term variations and helps assess long-term engagement.

  • Session participation

The total number of participations in wellbeing sessions offered in the app (live or replay). The higher this number, the more your employees are engaging with the content.

  • Total bonuses unlocked

The number of actions completed by your employees: content viewed, challenges completed, etc.

The categories (Wellbeing, Solidarity, Purchasing power) indicate which types of content resonate most with your teams.

  • Number of messages sent

The level of communication between employees within the app (team chats and global chats). A high number indicates strong group dynamics.

  • Top 3 sessions

The three most attended wellbeing sessions during the period. Useful for understanding your employees’ preferences.

  • Top 3 bonuses unlocked

The three most activated bonuses. Helps identify which content or actions resonate the most with your teams.

Section “What is the impact?”

  • Number of steps taken

The total number of steps recorded by all your employees since the beginning of the subscription, along with the progress for the current month.

  • Distance cycled (km)

The total cycling distance recorded through the app.

  • CO₂ emissions avoided

Calculated based on walking and cycling trips since the beginning of the subscription. A concrete indicator of the environmental impact of your wellbeing initiative.

  • Average daily steps graph

Shows the month-by-month evolution of your employees’ average physical activity. An upward trend indicates increasing engagement over time.

Section “Who are my users?”

  • Gender / age group distribution

These charts describe the profile of your engaged employees. They help you identify whether certain groups are underrepresented and adjust your communication accordingly.

  • Distribution by site

If your organization has multiple locations, this chart allows you to compare their engagement levels and identify which ones may benefit from additional follow-up.
